Jan Noponen is a Finnish drummer and composer. He has played in Mistakes, Lapinlahden Linnut, Guitarslingers, Akimowskaja Bros & Sisters and Rinneradio. He currently plays in the reformed band Wigwam - Virgin Records artists in the seventies - and Brel, Suosalo, Tegelman. He also does sessions and gigs with other artists.
“I like to use drums of different sizes and material for each individual project - vintage Ludwig, Gretsch, Hayman, Rogers. For cymbals I always use Paiste - I have been a Paiste artist since 1982 and been playing them even longer”
